Job summary

True Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Lead Patient Services Representative to oversee administrative duties and improve operational efficiency at the facility. You will manage patient check-in/check-out, address complaints, and ensure a well-organized office.

You will coordinate with leadership, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, post charges, and schedule appointments while supporting walk-in patients and multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one-year medical office management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a courteous professional working environment.
  • Provide operational oversight to a location in the absence of the Center Manager including end-of-day processes.
  • Escalate employee relations issues to Regional Director of Operations for guidance.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, coworkers, and supervisor.
  • Interview patients for sliding fee scale services and update eligibility.
  • Verify insurances and set eligibility dates in system.
  • Call and remind patients to bring missing information to their appointment.
  • Collect payments and patient balances.
  • Post charges to patient accounts.
  • Scan and import demographic and clinical documentation into patient charts.
  • Schedule appointments as needed.
  • Monitor patient schedule to accommodate walk-in patients.
  • Direct patients to the proper department for assistance.
  • Operate office equipment (fax, copier, computer, credit card, check machine).
  • Provide copies of patient medical records as requested.
  • Contribute to and enhance the positive image of front office operations.
  • Collaborate with department leadership for staff development and team building.
  • Make the necessary billing corrections.
  • Travel to different True Health locations to provide departmental support.
  • Collaborate with community partners to facilitate patient care across locations.
  • Participate in special projects to maximize departmental efficiency.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary:
