Job summary

HCA Healthcare's St. Davids South Austin Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Care Technician Radiology to join the nursing team.

You will deliver compassionate patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and mentor new and experienced staff to support growth. Responsibilities include helping patients with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating updates to the team to ensure timely, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Responding to patient needs through regular rounding and compassionate communication to promote comfort and trust
• Training new team members, sharing updates on policies and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead Patient Care Tech, you’ll be an integral part of the nursing team, delivering compassionate care that impacts patients’ lives every day. You’ll provide hands-on patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and help guide and mentor and support the growth of new and experienced patient care tech staff.

Your responsibilities will include:
