  • Department: Food & Beverage - Kitchen
  • Reports To: Executive Chef, Pastry/Sous Chef
  • Hourly Rate: $20.28 - $24.00 DOE
About the Club

Established in 1887, Denver Country Club is renowned as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the U.S. It features an 18-hole golf course, indoor golf simulators, tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, and dining options. The club has a storied history of golf championships and recently completed a golf course renovation in 2020 by Gil Hanse.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and set up bakery station for service
  • Prepare food by cutting, chopping, mixing, baking
  • Follow recipes and standards for restaurant and events
  • Review banquet orders and coordinate with kitchen
  • Maintain safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Ensure cleanliness of bakery equipment and storage areas
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Pastry and Executive Chefs
  • Ensure food quality and consistency
  • Dependability is essential; punctuality and willingness to go above and beyond are expected
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years pastry experience; culinary & pastry arts certification a plus
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Flexible with shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Dependable
