Job summary

The Summit Church in the St. Louis metro area seeks a Lead Pastor to shepherd our congregation and advance our mission in St. Charles County. Planting roots in Acts 29, the ideal candidate loves preaching the Word, makes and multiplies disciples, and builds up leaders around them.

You will work closely with a collaborative Elder Team in a church committed to the Great Commission and local community impact.

Qualifications

• Preach expositionally and help people understand and live the gospel.
• Have a heart for mission and reaching people far from God.
• Skilled at developing leaders and building healthy teams.
• Meet the biblical qualifications for an elder.
• Align with Acts 29 theology and values.

Responsibilities

• Shepherd the congregation and carry the churchs mission forward in the community.
• Collaborate with an Elder Team to guide ministry and leadership development.

The Summit Church is a gospel-centered church in the St. Louis metro area seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd our congregation and carry our mission forward in St. Charles County.

We were planted with Acts 29roots, and we’re looking for a leader who shares that DNA — someone who loves preaching the Word, makes and multiplies disciples, and builds up leaders around them rather than doing ministry alone. You’ll work closely with a collaborative Elder Team in a church that’s serious about the Great Commission and invested in the local community.
