Altorfer Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to supervise the Heavy Construction Parts department in a dynamic warehouse environment. The role includes overseeing customer orders, parts handling, and coordinating service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include sales support, inventory control, and occasional forklift operation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or minimum of 5 years previous parts operations experience required.
• Product knowledge of trucks, diesel engines, and Caterpillar equipment preferred.
• Self-starter with good time management, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Heavy Construction Parts department.
• Manage all aspects of customer and service staff order processing and parts handling.
• Customer service, sales, and marketing responsibility.
• Occasional forklift or pickup truck operation.
• Inventory control and other administrative duties.
• Ability to perform parts counter functions as needed.
• Ability to perform backorder analysis as needed.
