Job summary

Truck City in Greeley, CO is seeking a Lead Parts Counterperson & Inventory Coordinator to steer the parts counter and maintain accurate inventory for a fast-paced commercial service operation. You'll partner with the Inventory Manager to ensure correct stock, oversee receiving, returns, and cycle counts, and lead a small team of counter associates while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of automotive dealership parts experience.
• Strong understanding of dealership parts inventory systems and inventory control practices.
• Experience managing receiving, returns, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels in partnership with the Company Inventory Manager.
• Verify inventory through on-hand counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Oversee receiving, returns, and documentation to ensure timely stocking.
• Assist technicians and customers in identifying and purchasing parts with accurate pricing and delivery times.
• Lead and train Parts Counter team members and establish standard procedures.
• Conduct monthly team meetings to review inventory performance and drive improvements.
