Job summary

Insignia Event Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Parking Team Lead to support the Parking Management Team during events at local venues. You will guide Parking Attendants, enforce parking protocols, and help with equipment setup to ensure smooth operation on event days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in parking, events, or customer service strongly preferred.
• Comfortable leading a small team and giving clear instructions.
• Ability to handle high volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (ex: loud environments).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-ground leadership to Parking Attendants and Cashiers within an assigned lot or zone.
• Ensure Parking Attendants are informed, supported, and executing responsibilities accurately.
• Set up and break down parking equipment, such as barricades, signage, cones, and lighting.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for lots.
• Guide guests in and out of parking areas using hand signals, lighted poles, and verbal direction.
• Communicate with Supervisor to report issues, guest feedback, or staffing needs.
• Answer guest questions or redirect them appropriately for assistance.
• Uphold Insignia’s customer service standards as a positive role model.
• Other duties as assigned.
