Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment (defibrillators, EKGs, oxygen, suction, IVs).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene/unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
