Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System’s EMS team is seeking an experienced Paramedic to provide advanced emergency care in the ED and coordinate ambulance transport. The role emphasizes leadership in critical situations, documentation, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Requirements include an accredited Paramedic program or associate degree, active Paramedic license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS and NRP within required timeframes. A minimum of two years’ Paramedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Paramedicine required.
• OR Graduate of accredited Paramedic training program required.
• Current Paramedic license required.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years Paramedic experience preferred.
• EMS-Paramedic providing hospital service or as volunteer EMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced emergency care for all Emergency Department patients.
• Acts as lead responder in critical situations and coordinates resuscitation and stabilization.
• Coordinates emergency response and interfacility transport as needed.
• Maintains complete and accurate patient care documentation.
