Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a full-time Paramedic to join the Methodist Fremont Health team in Fremont, NE. The role involves delivering advanced ED care, coordinating transport, and mentoring junior staff.

You will work three 12-hour day shifts weekly (7a–7p) with a rotating weekend schedule, ensuring patient safety and smooth operations across hospital and ambulance settings.

Qualifications

• Paramedic education and licensure as required by state regulations.
• Minimum two years of Paramedic experience preferred.
• EMT-P practice in hospital or field settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency care for ED patients per protocols.
• Lead responders in critical situations, coordinating resuscitation.
• Coordinate ambulance transport and interfacility transfers.
• Operate and verify readiness of life-support equipment.
• Document care thoroughly and accurately per guidelines.
• Mentor EMTs and new staff; participate in training.
