What to Expect

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the work of up to 3 paralegals and 1 lead legal assistant
  • Draft legal documents such as letters, reports, pleadings, and motions
  • Conduct client interviews and gather relevant facts and information
  • Manage discovery requests and responses to ensure efficient case progression
  • Monitor client communications to ensure timely responses and case management
Qualifications

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • 7+ years of experience working as a paralegal for a family law firm
  • Strong digital skills, including knowledge of Clio, GoTo Meeting, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and Google platforms
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience conducting research and discovery
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certification
Preferred Qualifications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Recent experience in the state of Washington, particularly in the Superior Courts of King County, Pierce County, Thurston County, or Snohomish County
  • Good people skills to foster effective teamwork and client relationships
