Job summary

Nippon Dynawave Packaging Co. is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee production operations at its Longview, Washington Liquid Packaging facility.

The role focuses on maintaining a smooth, efficient process by monitoring staff, organizing workflows, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met. In this fast-paced paper mill environment, the Foreman will optimize day-to-day activities, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement while balancing production demands and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Pulp and Paper or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent planning and organizing abilities.
• Ability to lead problem solving and analyze results to meet objectives.
• Ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead operating teams to achieve safety, reliability, cost and quality goals.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance.
• Provide team and individual coaching and discipline.
• Coordinate development of skills and training.
• Ensure customers' expectations are understood and met.
• Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Inspect repairs and observe test runs for safe operations.
• Prepare reports on equipment/machinery and payroll records.
