Responsibilities

• Lead journey-level painters and supervise helpers.
• Maintain time, payroll, and material records; submit reports.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Analyze project health and hazards per MSDS requirements.
• Coordinate with Facilities Planning to plan shop work.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and Caltech guidelines.
• Manage resources for productivity and safety.
• Enforce fire and life-safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Maintain safety inspection and maintenance records.
• Provide written and oral reports; attend meetings.
