Job summary

Spacesaver is seeking a Paint Tech on 1st shift in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. The position offers a full-time schedule with a starting wage of $21.00 per hour. Expect 4 ten-hour days (Mon-Thu, 4am-2pm) with mandatory OT on Fridays and every other Saturday (4am-12pm).

The role requires pre-treatment work, powder coating per instructions, and equipment troubleshooting. Strong leadership and teamwork are valued, with safety-focused English literacy required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience or a technical degree and 1 year of experience.
• Powder Coat paint knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read tape measures and efficiently operate measurement devices.
• Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for safety purposes.

Responsibilities

• Pre-treating: testing and maintaining chemicals.
• Powder coat surfaces, parts, and products per instructions and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Demonstrates leadership, mentors others, and makes solid decisions.
