Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Lead Packer in Vernon, OH to prepare materials for processing, feed them into machinery, inspect finished products for quality, and package them for shipment. The role is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and efficiency.

The position trains on the first shift, with night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Starting pay is $23.13/hour plus a $1/hour night differential, with night shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Stable work history; Preferably one year of experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred
• Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace

• Staffing for packers and line assignments based on standards
• Manage training for new packers & trainers
• Coordination of meal and breaks for packers
• Maintain inventory for production labels, port tickets, WIP labels
• Ensure line is ready for set up process, by clearing line
• Manages packers when line goes down and reviews work assignments
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Have forklift experience
