Bayer Crop Science in Muscatine, Iowa is seeking a Packaging Technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment on rotating shifts. You will mentor contractors, document actions, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental checks are completed daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with strong reading, writing and math.
• Basic IT systems knowledge.

• Able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair packaging equipment and troubleshoot related issues.
• Lead and direct contractors on shift to follow Bayer policies.
• Perform mechanical and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Document actions and shift exchanges.
• Complete safety, quality, and inventory reports.
• Manage equipment isolations and issue work permits.
• Assist in developing key process documentation.
• Provide coaching to peers and contractors on the shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment through 5S practices.
