Description

The Pick/Pack Lead facilitates all pick/pack work projects and related support activities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Understands the quality specifications for each product being handled and trains the workforce to meet or exceed those expectations. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, processes, equipment (SOPs), and recommends improvements to direct supervision. Confirms that all orders are picked and packed by the end of the day. Supports cost control efforts by resolving operational issues and managing support staff. Follows corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and reports noncompliance. Observes all company safety rules and assists in enforcement as appropriate.

Schedule and Compensation

Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am

$18.50 plus $2.00 shift differential

Responsibilities

  • Delegates pick/pack work based on business needs.
  • Checks AOR for all pick/pack associates to ensure area maintenance.
  • Ensures all orders are completed daily.
  • Maintains supplies for the pick/pack area.
  • Oversees the pick/pack work area.
  • Supervises and assists with picking and packing issues such as damages, printer issues, helpdesk tickets, and RF problems.
  • Trains new workforce.
  • Provides feedback on job expectations.
  • Maintains all relevant paperwork.
  • Communicates with ID Logistics Management to address issues, discuss improvements, handle labor concerns, and correct problems.
  • Maintains efficiency, quality, cleanliness, and safety in the pick/pack area.
  • Works overtime as required.
  • Ensures proper PPE compliance and safety rules adherence.
  • Follows GMPs and reports noncompliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in a production environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, varied environment.
