Job summary

OnTrac in the San Francisco area is seeking a Lead Package Handler to oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. This hands-on lead role works with Area and Operations Managers to train new hires, support metrics, and uphold company values.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 1 year of industry experience, and leadership experience. Expect to lift up to 25–35 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier loads, and to work a 2:00 AM–10:00

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
• Train and guide package handlers with hands-on demonstrations.
• Oversee handling, sorting, and inspection to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Monitor equipment functionality and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Check in and check out third-party drivers and ensure proper documentation.
