OnTrac is seeking a Lead Package Handler for the Chicago HUB in Romeoville, IL. The role oversees offloading, loading, and sorting of packages, training new hires, and supporting performance metrics.

The position runs Wed-Sat, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pay starts at $22.05/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential Fri–Sun. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of industry and leadership experience, and basic English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of industry experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety protocols.
• Train and guide Package Handlers with hands-on demonstrations and ongoing feedback.
• Oversee package handling, sorting, and inspection to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Monitor equipment functionality and submit maintenance requests.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and verify credentials.
