Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an Overhead Transmission Line Project Manager in a hybrid role. You will own project outcomes across HV, underground, and overhead lines, with potential work in substation and related networks.

Expect to travel ~25% to project sites and lead diverse teams to deliver impactful electric grid solutions. You’ll manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience or 7+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience with transmission line projects.
• Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
• PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.

Responsibilities

• Actively promotes the safety culture.
• Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services and/or EPC work.
• Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
• Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services and/or EPC projects.
• Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
