Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced Overhead Distribution Working Foreperson to lead a crew and supervise installation, testing, and maintenance of overhead power lines.

You will implement safety programs, ensure staff are trained, coordinate with the General Foreperson, and manage day-to-day field operations for energized systems. This position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in the electrical power line construction industry.
• Ability to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and certifications.
• Proven OH Maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists crew with all parts of the electrical system.
• Obtain daily job descriptions and follow up with General Foreperson.
• Ensure daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipment.
• Implement and enforce safety program at field level for employees.
• Ensure employees are trained and qualified to perform the work.
• Enforce safety rules pertaining to assigned work.
• Conduct quality job briefings and safety inspections.
• Report injuries and incidents to supervision.
• Travel for emergency storm work as needed.
