The role requires 7+ years installing and servicing overhead doors and gates; strongest leads have 10+ years. You drive the company truck, read plans, and ensure safety and schedule. Signing bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years installing and servicing overhead doors and gates.
• You have run crews as a foreman or lead technician.
• You know commercial doors, automatic doors and gates, and you are as comfortable on a service call as on a new install.
• You take pride in doing it right the first time.
• Not the right fit if your background is general construction without door and gate work.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial door packages on new construction: rolling steel, sectional and fire doors, automatic doors, vehicle gates and automated gate systems, with their operators and safety devices.
• Diagnose and repair doors and gates on service calls, order the parts and finish the job.
• Read plans, specs and submittals, keep every job safe and on schedule, and bring newer technicians along.
