Job summary

NorCal Orthopedic Surgery Center is seeking a Scrub Tech to join our surgical team. The role involves scrubbing cases, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgeon during procedures under RN supervision.

The lead tech will oversee other technicians and ensure instruments and equipment are ready for upcoming cases. Responsibilities include supporting system-wide surgical operations initiatives and participating in the department's safety plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: BLS certification; competent in basic procedures or at least one specialty area; must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Scrub tech assists surgeon during procedures and maintains sterile field.
• Oversee daily operation of other technicians; ensure instruments and equipment are available.
• Support operating room safety plan and turnover after procedures.
