Position Summary

We are actively seeking a Lead Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team! As the Lead Orthodontic Assistant, you will serve as the clinical leader at the office level, supporting the orthodontic manager with daily office functions and assisting the doctors with clinical treatment. Support our mission to provide excellent dental care to the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities
Education, Training, and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Orthodontic assistant.
  • At least 6 months' experience in a clinical environment with similar functions.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • Certification in all available Orthodontic/dental assistant certifications (as required in the state of employment) within 6 months of starting the role.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with children's dentistry.
  • Supervisory experience with Orthodontic/dental assistants.
  • Expanded knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Physical Demands

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, parents, and staff; stand and walk for extended periods; lift/carry up to 30 pounds; and perform twisting, turning, bending, and stooping.

Working Conditions

Primarily in a clinical environment. Extended hours may be required during peak periods, with hours subject to change based on business needs.
