Allied OMS in Cleburne, TX seeks a Lead Surgical Assistant to support oral surgeons and guide the surgical assisting team. You will ensure efficient workflow and patient safety, training others and maintaining high clinical standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership with 5+ years in a fast-paced surgical setting, proficiency in WinOMS and CareStream, and a commitment to confidentiality and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Current RDA license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• DAANCE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 5–10 years pays $25/hr, 10+ years pays $27/hr.
• Demonstrated ownership of a room, team, or inventory.
• High-volume surgical or multi-doctor experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own clinical flow: keep operatories ready, cases moving, and the surgical day on time.
• Lead and train the assistant team; set clinical standards and accountability.
• Oversee sterile technique, instrument handling, inventory, and protocol compliance.
• Manage supply costs, vendor relationships, and prevent downtime.
• Serve as the clinical–front office link and support surgeons.
