Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. seeks a Technical Lead Engineer specializing in Oracle Cloud WMS (LogFire) to lead architecture, configuration, integration, and support of the warehouse management ecosystem.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership, design scalable solutions, and drive end-to-end implementation across multiple fulfillment centres and brands, collaborating with operations, IT, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud WMS (LogFire) implementations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and IT integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and deployment of Oracle Cloud WMS across receiving, putaway, picking, replenishment, packing, shipping, cycle count, and labor workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable WMS configurations and integrations.
• Build and refine LogFire configuration elements such as strategy engines, sequencing rules, task types, workflows, and labeling logic.
• Design and manage ingestion and outbound data flows between Cloud WMS and ERP/OMS/TMS/MHE/eCommerce systems.
• Develop technical specs, interface designs, data mappings, solution blueprints, and configuration standards.
• Provide hands-on deployment support including configuration, testing, cutover activities, and hypercare.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze WMS logs, and resolve integration/configuration failures.
• Conduct system health checks, performance tuning, and rule optimization to improve throughput and accuracy.
• Partner with MHE/WCS vendors to support automation workflows and device integrations.
• Mentor junior team members and serve as SME for Oracle Cloud WMS and warehouse operations.
