Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our growing Enterprise Transformation Team! In this role, you will lead the implementation and support of our Schedule to Produce workstream, with a focus on Manufacturing (Discrete), Quality, Actual Costing, and Demand & Supply Planning modules.

As a key contributor to the design and execution of our Oracle Cloud (Horizon) implementation, you will collaborate across all Taylor Business Units to drive the adoption of streamlined, standardized, and simplified business processes. This role will engage in every phase of the system development lifecycle—including planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, enhancement, and support. You’ll have the opportunity to shape best practices, influence future-state organizational structures, and play a critical role in delivering a cutting-edge enterprise ERP solution. Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance: Manage the configuration of the Oracle application, understanding upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot ERP functional issues and manage communications to business units.
  • Lead the Quarterly Release process, partnering with Subject Matter Experts to test functionality and sign off.
  • Provision application user access.
  • Requirement Gathering/Continuous Improvement: Work with Business Subject Matter Experts to analyze current operational procedures, identify areas for improvement and offer possible solutions.
  • Facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization, and complexity categorization of business requirements.
  • Document and model ‘as is’ and ‘future state’ business processes; analyze and optimize requirements to match guiding principles of future state.
  • Effectively and efficiently organize and facilitate design workshops.
  • Communicate and translate requirements effectively between business areas and IT.
  • Review technology capabilities and workflows to determine if program and system changes are possible.
  • Assist with preparation of time and cost estimates for completing projects.
  • Assist with ROI analysis based on solution.
  • Act as a liaison between business end users and IT development teams; consult on analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Collaborate with the business to create detailed use cases, process flows, prototyping, test cases and test scenarios to implement quality solutions.
  • Testing: Lead or participate in testing activities, provide input into test plans, write test scripts and test cases.
  • Facilitate and direct testing defect tracking and reporting as needed.
  • Responsible for managing, creating and executing test cases and scenarios.
  • Lead the Oracle quarterly release testing and facilitate updates to all Business Units in Taylor.
  • Support: Support Business SMEs through training & documentation of new changes or enhancements.
  • Level 3 support for Help Desk issue resolution.
  • Support error resolution process for integrations and workflows.
  • Other: Key stakeholder in Oracle Cloud projects and Taylor-Wide implementations.
  • Participate in Organizational Design as it relates to Inventory and Warehousing departments in the Taylor organization.
  • Lead Manufacturing, Quality, Costing and Planning implementation sessions; engage in all phases of the implementations.
  • Provide organizational change management for changes, additions, or eliminations to processes and/or systems.
  • Assist project teams in defining project scope, goals, approach, and deliverables supporting the business objectives.
You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience; especially experience that leverages Oracle Cloud technology within Manufacturing, Quality, Costing and Planning.
  • The ability to be innovative and detail-oriented.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and be a change agent.
  • Knowledge in designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel 25-35% and possibly more during testing and installs.
We Would Also Prefer:
  • Proficiency in Jira and various testing tools.
  • Experience in waterfall and agile project methodology.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion or related ERP implementations.
  • Experience engaging offshore teams creating a round-the-clock working environment.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
