Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• BLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program; high school diploma.
• Lead experience preferred; 2 years OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with OR staff and monitor cases requiring imaging.
• Carry department phone or Vocera and inform supervisor of staffing needs.
• Assign technologists to cases and perform imaging as required.
• Facilitate movement of imaging equipment to locations for current/future cases.
• Notify supervisor about equipment service calls or failures; assist during low-volume periods.
