Job summary

LensCrafters, a leading optical retailer, seeks an Optometrist to lead patient care and deliver the brand promise across services and experiences.

You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, guide staff, and ensure high-quality care on each visit, while training team members and driving patient satisfaction and performance targets within a supportive EssilorLuxottica environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry required.
• A proven track record of delivering the organization’s results through people.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge from operations, processes and business implications.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead service excellence and patient care by ensuring staff perform key steps like patient satisfaction, eye health exams and lifestyle needs.
• Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standard of care.
• Ensure patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations on initial visits.
• Establish positive doctor/patient relationships and communicate effectively with staff for a seamless patient experience.
• Provide on-the-job training covering orientation, front desk procedures, pre-testing, phone skills, contact lens training, and exam quality by other doctors.
• Deliver timely feedback and address underperformance; foster a positive culture aligned with corporate values.
• Encourage staff to make decisions at the level closest to the patient and strive for targets like satisfaction, sales, and growth.
