As a Lead Optical Lab Technician, you will lead the lab team in cutting, edging, and creating prescription lenses to ensure timely delivery of glasses. Your leadership, technical skills, and attention to detail are essential to uphold our high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lab Leadership: Manage optical laboratory equipment, tools, supplies, and materials. Ensure jobs are completed within hourly deadlines.
  2. Prescription Management: Accurately interpret prescription specifications and input data into computer systems for proper lens cutting.
  3. Maintenance: Keep the lab area and equipment safe and organized. Perform scheduled maintenance according to manuals.
  4. Operational Excellence: Handle multiple tasks across different equipment stations to maintain workflow. Complete all reporting forms promptly.
  5. Team Collaboration: Foster effective working relationships with team members. Assist with moving heavy equipment when needed.

Requirements:
