Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking a Lead Optical Lab Technician to oversee the lab team in cutting, edging and creating prescription lenses, ensuring timely delivery and strict quality standards. This full-time role requires leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and attention to detail to support our customer-centric operations.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with 2–5 years in a lab or technical setting, and experience in the optical industry.

Responsibilities

• Lab Leadership: lead the lab team in cutting, edging and creating prescription lenses to ensure timely delivery.
• Prescription Management: correctly read and input prescriptions into the computer to ensure lenses are cut properly.
• Maintenance: maintain lab area and equipment in a safe, organized manner; perform scheduled maintenance.
