Qualifications

• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.
• Experience designing and measuring optical effects and performance.
• Lab setup design and implementation for optical characterization.

Responsibilities

• Lead optics team research, designs, deliveries and support.
• Act as technical authority for the team’s activities.
• Develop physical models for optical systems.
• Run simulations and analyses of tool-related effects.
• Conduct lab tests for feasibility studies and qualifications.
• Own light sources, fibers, and optical modules responsibilities.
• Manage vendors and external activities.
• Interface with HW and system teams for aligned delivery.
• Contribute to concept/feasibility studies, specs reviews, and tests.
• Document deliverables for transfer to production and service.
