Job summary

A leading eye care center in North Carolina is seeking experienced Lead Ophthalmic Technicians/Medical Scribes to assist physicians in clinical settings. Responsibilities include triaging patients, scheduling surgeries, and coordinating surgery schedules. Ideal candidates should have a background in Ophthalmology and proficiency with OCT/Fundus/FA. Excellent benefits are provided, including medical & dental insurance and 401K. Full-time hours are preferred with some overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a technician in an Ophthalmology office.
• Ability to aid in daily tasks of running a medical clinic.
• Familiarity with OCT/Fundus/FA equipment.
• Scribe experience is preferred.
• Ability to assist in coordinating surgery schedules.

Overview

Lead Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Scribe. Now hiring highly motivated, organized individuals to work as clinical technicians for the largest Retina Practice in North Carolina. We are hiring to staff all of our clinics including Raleigh, North Raleigh, Cary, Fuquay Varina, Clayton, Greenville, Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest.

We are looking to hire experienced technicians to fill available roles as lead technicians, directly assisting the physician in the room, triaging patients, and scheduling surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians directly assisting the physician in the room
• Triaging patients
• Scheduling surgeries
• Assist in coordinating surgery schedules and reviewing and editing medical charts/referrals

Qualifications
