Job summary

ICU Medical in Southington, CT seeks a Manufacturing Operator to perform functions across operator levels, coordinate tech services, and ensure efficient shift hand-off. You will process transactions in the MRP system and support quality and engineering projects.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of quality systems in medical device manufacturing, and the ability to learn new technologies; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED with 8–10 years manufacturing experience; Technical Certificate with 5–7 years; or Associate’s Degree with 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all functions of all Operator levels.
  • Coordinate tech services, form specifications changes, and qualifications.
  • Ensure efficient shift hand-off and communication.
  • Process required transactions in MRP system.
  • Serve as Operator representative for Quality and Engineering projects.
  • Ensure scheduling to meet production requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Operators.
  • Promote and support 5S standards; participate in standards development.
  • Model company values and support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company procedures.
  • Engage in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives.
