Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Mill Lead Operator based in Hobart, IN, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor. You will manage mill setup, drive performance to high quality and efficiency, and lead a team through changeovers and operations.

A strong background in tube mill production and a safety-first mindset are essential. You will coordinate with maintenance and mill staff to meet productivity demands, troubleshoot quality issues, and ensure customer specifications are met in the final product.

• Communicate with and direct mill crew to achieve target goals, as well as support departments.
• Troubleshoot equipment, product quality, and bottleneck issues.
• Follow explicit customer specifications and ensure execution in the end product.

• Familiarize yourself with all new equipment and processes
• Lead the mill team to ensure productivity demand is met
• Coordinate efforts with mill and maintenance management
• Lead production efforts in meeting customer needs
