Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Maryland is seeking a Lead Operator to join our manufacturing team on the second shift. You will mentor a team, ensure consistent production processes, and drive operational excellence with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will coordinate daily activities, troubleshoot issues, review batch records, and collaborate across functions to meet delivery goals while upholding cGMP standards and strict PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Four years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation and SOPs.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a manufacturing team to ensure consistent production execution.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities and resolve complex issues.
• Review batch records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
