Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Maryland is seeking an Operator II, Manufacturing for the second shift (afternoons). You will work within a manufacturing environment, both independently and in teams, ensuring products meet quality specifications and production schedules while adhering to GMP safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating filling equipment, pallet jacks, and handling temperature-sensitive materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow GMP safety standards and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a manufacturing environment individually and in a team to ensure product quality exceeds specs.
• Communicate with multiple work groups to complete daily production.
• Adhere to PPE requirements in standard and clean room environments.
• Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment and pallet jacks.
• Handle and process temperature-sensitive materials per policies and procedures.
• Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training on time and comply with ISO, GMP, and FDA standards at the Frederick site.

• Work within a manufacturing environment both individually and within a team to ensure customers receive a product that exceeds quality specifications.

• Communicate with several work groups to ensure the completion of daily production.

• Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.

Keys to Success:

Education

• Required : High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position Operator II, Manufacturing based in Maryland is $16.78–$25.17.
