Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Lead Operator to manage daily production in the Kitchen department. You will lead by example, ensure quality and safety, and support the team to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include guiding the team, operating and maintaining machinery, and ensuring traceability and GMP/SOP adherence. This role requires English proficiency and physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operator experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or factory setting preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and tablets.
• Read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and manage the department in the absence of supervision.
• Assign tasks and support team to meet production goals.
• Operate, set up, clean, and adjust machinery.
• Monitor process parameters for accuracy and traceability.
• Perform in-process quality checks and data entry.
• Train and mentor colleagues on procedures and safety.
• Identify issues and escalate to supervisors when needed.
• Support cross-department tasks and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Adhere to GMPs and SOPs.
