Job summary

MCC Label in Neenah, WI seeks a manufacturing associate to support rewind/finishing operations. You will adhere to policies, participate in safety rounds, and help meet productivity and quality goals in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to policies per employee manual.

  • Perform duties including kitting, packing, and housekeeping.
  • Collaborate with Press Supervisors on scheduling and priorities.
  • Assist with vision issues, pharma audits, and routine quality checks.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Understand and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual.

  • Drive standard work adherence through rounds and audits
  • Guide and direct work of other Rewind and Press Helper personnel
  • Kitting (setting up work stations with necessary materials and equipment)
  • Cover breaks
  • Collaborate with Press Supervisors on scheduling for rewind/ finishing
  • KAN BAN – ordering supplies following FIFO
  • Order supplies as needed for peak packaging needs
  • Act as a resource for Customer Service regarding Vision issues
  • Vision functionality troubleshooting
  • Directing finishing / rewind on priorities, evaluating changes in priorities
  • Pharma audits

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear hearing, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May, on a continuous basis, stand for a long period of time and stoop, bend, and kneel frequently. May handle, feel and reach for items in and around press area and continuously grasp product from a conveyor for up to 12 hours (4 hours at a time due to breaks). Moderate to frequent walking and lifting and/or move up to 50 lbs (20 lbs repetitively) is required. Vision: close vision, distance and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception as well as the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
