Job summary
Allied Graphite Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Readiness Manager to lead the staged delivery strategy for pilot plant, commercial prototype, and P1 commercial facility in Mesa, AZ.
The role interfaces between project and operations to build the operating organization, prepare the facility for startup, and sustain modern, safe, compliant production. You will design operating models, staffing, competency frameworks, and training plans, coordinating with engineering, procurement,
Qualifications
- 15+ years in chemical processing or related continuous production
- 10+ years in operations management in continuous facilities
- Experience in operational readiness, startup ramp-up, and project-to-operations
- Greenfield project development and phased facility expansions
- Owner's Representative experience with Engineering Service Providers
- CMMS implementations and completions management systems
- Participation in HAZOP, PSSR, MOC, RCM, and FMEA programs
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute staged operations readiness strategy across pilot, prototype, and commercial phases
- Serve as the interface between Project and Operations teams to build the operating organization
- Prepare facilities for startup, ramp-up, and ongoing operations across all phases
- Define capability requirements and readiness criteria for each facility phase
- Lead readiness reviews and sign-off activities before handovers
- Coordinate readiness with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, recruitment, and training
- Establish training, documentation, and maintenance readiness plans
- Monitor progress with stage-gate governance and risk mitigation across milestones
