Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park is seeking a Lead, Continuous Improvement to drive process improvements and business resiliency across site operations. You will lead implementation of the OpEx framework, coordinate Kaizen events, and partner with functions to strengthen readiness and site culture.

The role reports to the Canoga Park Site Operations Director and requires experience in manufacturing/regulated environments, plus the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior related continuous improvement experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related continuous improvement experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution and adoption of the LHX OpEx framework, including maturity models, assessments, and benchmarking tools.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, value stream mapping (VSM) and Kaizen events to promote continuous improvement.
• Support and drive site-level and cross-functional process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standard work, visual management tools, metrics, and reporting.
• Support business resiliency / business continuity planning by partnering with functional owners to identify critical processes, dependencies, recovery priorities, and risks.
• Assist in development, maintenance, and periodic review of site or function-level resiliency, continuity, and preparedness plans.
• Coordinate and support preparedness activities such as risk reviews, tabletop exercises, lessons learned sessions, and action closure tracking.
• Support site leadership in execution of site activities, including audits, engagement, communication focal, site council, employee events, and culture-building activities.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
