Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead and perform survey and positioning operations for vessels and ROVs offshore.

The role requires overseeing sensor installation, calibration, and data analysis while maintaining inventory and safety standards. Based in the Gulf of Mexico with travel to remote locations globally, the position demands strong leadership, reliability under pressure, and the ability to obtain necessary offshore credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5–8 years’ experience in Survey or Geoscience as a Survey Professional.
• Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card (US).
• Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any offshore work documents as needed.
• Two-year technical degree or higher is preferred.
• Current security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, calibration, and operation of surface and subsea sensors for real-time vessel and ROV positioning.
• Lead operation of cameras, acoustic positioning, sonars, subsea tooling, and surface positioning systems.
• Understand and apply survey data collection and analysis processes.
• Maintain and manage parts and supplies inventory.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
