Lead Occupational Therapist - Southwest Fort Worth (76123)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience with pediatrics from birth to 20 years old
- A wide variety of experience with differing diagnoses, treatment strategies, and approaches (Autism, Apraxia, ADHD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, and Torticollis)
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or mentorship role
- A strong Continuing Education resume
- The aspiration to be part of a heart-based, values-driven practice that improves children’s lives daily
- The desire to learn and grow in a fun yet professional environment alongside other initiative-taking and independent professionals
- The ability to provide top-quality care to patients from all walks of life
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to OT’s to enhance professional development and care.
- Function as a liaison between OT departments and other healthcare teams.
- Observe evaluations and review documentation of new OT’s, providing feedback.
- Support observations between team members.
- Promote collaboration within the team.
- Proactively engage with OT team members to identify needs regarding client care, progress, and discharge planning.
- Screen and interview prospective new hires.
Clinical Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine appropriate diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Perform weekly therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Provide parent education and home programming following each therapy session.
- Communicate relevant information with team members, families, and patients—verbally and in writing.
- Document evaluations and therapy sessions accurately and promptly.
- Ensure a clean and safe treatment space.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, administrative staff, and patient families to deliver the best care.
- Refer to external professionals when in the best interest of patients and families.
- Attend weekly round table and other meetings for growth, team building, and business practices.
- Contribute ideas for innovative therapy models and special programs to foster company growth.
- Pursue relevant continuing education to better serve our patient population.
- Maximize efforts to meet productivity standards for potential bonuses and flex time.
Administrative Duties:
- Proficiently utilize MS Office and other software systems.
- Complete scheduling and documentation via Practice Perfect.
- Use payroll systems to report hours and request time off.
- Submit weekly productivity statistics.
- Identify and review billing codes.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
