Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a seasoned software engineer in Irvine, CA to develop and maintain tooling for product releases and automation. The role involves scripting, building, packaging, and collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will work with development engineers on source control, registries and delivery processes, while contributing to a robust set of company-wide standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.
• Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products.
• Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process.
• Compiles and assembles software from source code.
• Ensures tools are stored in source control.
• Supports developers for software package registry and delivery.
