Job summary

Pathway Family Services is seeking a Full-Time Lead Nurse to join our PRTF team in Topeka, KS. The Lead Nurse will supervise a team of health care professionals providing comprehensive nursing care for children/adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting.

The role requires Kansas RN licensure, a trauma-informed approach, and a willingness to coordinate 24/7 coverage with facility administration. A valid driver’s license and Medicaid credentialing eligibility are also required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Kansas.
• Willing to take a trauma-informed approach when working with clients.
• In-office, on-site position with a flexible schedule coordinated with facility administration.
• Supervision experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ and at least 3 years older than the oldest resident.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Eligible for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a health care team and provide oversight and treatment planning for children's physical wellbeing.
• Provide nursing care to children/adolescents in residential behavioral health treatment.
• Ensure assessments, medication management orders, and care education meet requirements.
• Coordinate health appointments and documentation with in-house medication providers.
