Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for Glendale Place in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role you will supervise the nursing staff, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure residents receive the highest quality of care.

You must hold an active Ohio LPN or RN license and CPR certification, with at least 3 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care. This part-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing in long-term care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff and ensure residents receive the highest quality of care

• Conduct rounds to assess care quality
• Monitor compliance with regulations and standards of practice
• Assist in recruitment and retention of nursing staff
• Develop and implement policies to promote safe nursing care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss resident care plans
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team, residents and families to ensure continuity of care
