Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a physical science or engineering, with 5+ years of experience, Linux proficiency, and strong communication skills for a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• At least 5 years of ongoing professional experience in technical fields (additional years of education may be substituted).
• Experience with state estimation, tracking, or Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC).
• At least 2 years of academic or professional experience in C++ and Python.
• Fluency with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to work full-time in-person in Boulder, CO office location.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research new algorithms and analysis techniques for remote sensor data exploitation.
• Demonstrate fluent, idiomatic mastery of Python and/or C++; comfort with software design and architecture.
• Develop and tune Kalman filtering, tracking, and data exploitation algorithms in Python and C++.
• Characterize quality/performance of algorithms and sensor systems.
• Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
