Qualifications

  • Three years of practice or hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Credentialed by ARRT or NMTCB, with current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Summary:
The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is responsible for preparing and performing all office-based nuclear diagnostic studies. Also responsible for the maintenance of the nuclear medicine lab while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with appropriate clinical protocols. Performs lead responsibilities, including training team members, monitoring performance, and coordinating daily operations.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Radiologic Technologist required. Must be credentialed by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Three years of practice or hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred. Basic IV skills preferred.
