Job summary

Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead cross-functional programs turning customer needs into production-ready semiconductor equipment.

You will align Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain, manage milestones and BOM/ECO readiness, and drive issues to closure as products move from development to production. You will guide program cadence, risk handling, and cross-functional readiness reviews, ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex engineering, product development, or NPI programs.
PMP certification or equivalent training preferred.
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or similar automated electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional NPI programs from market needs through product release and production readiness.
Coordinate scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria with Marketing, Technology, Systems and Engineering.
Own integrated program plan, cadence, risk management, and cross-functional follow-through.
Drive production-readiness with Operations and Supply Chain; ensure serviceability and documentation needs are met.
Provide concise, data-driven updates to PMO and leadership; manage costs and schedule.
