Job summary

Loxo is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site gastroenterology/hepatology clinic in Peoria, AZ. You will manage your own patient panel and provide comprehensive care in a clinic-based setting.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a Friday half-day for administrative tasks. Five+ years of NP/PA experience in hepatology/gastroenterology or related fields is preferred; strong candidacy for newer graduates with extensive RN background.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible NP or PA license in Arizona.
• Appropriate national board certification.
• RN experience for new NP/PA graduates considered with specialty background.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage an assigned patient panel with continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians on complex cases and refer when needed.
• Participate in clinical research and trial opportunities.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in NP/PA call coverage as needed.
